Our Story

I am Mercedes! I am the founder of The Earl Project. I created this project to help families struggling to coordinate medical, educational and social care resources for their disabled children, feel supported during their move to Georgia. I’ve spent the last eight years maneuvering through services and medical facilities as well as educational settings. After our move to Georgia, it became such a challenge to organize and set up services before, during and following our move to Georgia.

Talmage has cerebral palsy, and he has faced many challenges that has strengthened him throughout the years. I have a unique understanding of how frustrating it is on a daily basis to get the basic medical and educational care our children need. I took that frustration and decided to turn it into a Project to change the lives of other parents going through the exact same as I have. The struggle is real, and we at The Earl Project understand the frustration that comes with moving. Especially with our kiddos that need services and a community. That’s where we come in!

After you make the big decision to move to Georgia and experience all of the amazing resources and opportunities we have for kiddos with disabilities, let us help make it less complicated and more organized!

If you’re a family with a sweet child who is strengthened by a disability and you feel overwhelmed after deciding to move to Georgia, fill out the contact form and let us make it less complicated! We’ve got This!
